Mr. T. Yako

Mr Tembile Yako is the Social and Ethics Committee Chairperson and a Member of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee.

Mr. Yako holds an MPhil in Corporate Strategy from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), an MPhil, in Futures Studies from Stellenbosch University and BA (Hons) in Business Management from Lincoln University among others.

Mr. Yako is currently the Head of Strategy Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation at the National Heritage Council (NHC), he has served as Acting CEO and Acting Company Secretary at different times within the same Institution.

Mr. Yako is experienced in Executive Management, Strategy and policy Development; Stakeholder Management; Performance Monitoring and Evaluation; Governance and Board Reporting; Facilitation and Negotiations; Public Sector Management and Administration; Operational Management; Scenario Planning and Environmental Scanning; Policy Development; Business Development; Enterprise Risk Management; Project Management.

He has served on the Council on Higher Education, Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC), and the King Hintsa TVET College Council as a Board Member and is currently a Director at Kuteno Consulting Services among others.
